CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Francisco Lindor, selected 8th overall in the 2011 MLB draft out of high school, adjusted to the daily grind of being a pro during his first year with the Cleveland Indians' Class A Lake County Captains. The shortstop was in town for the Tribes' Winter Development Program.
Lindor played last season for the Tribe's Class A Lake County Captains where he had a batting average of .257 with 83 runs, 24 doubles, six home runs 42 RBI and 27 stolen bases.
Baseball America has Lindor ranked as the Indians top prospect.
